BFFs

One of the hardest parts about moving (and why I have declared a moratorium on it!) is uprooting the kids. They make friends so easily and quickly that even a year in a place is long enough for them to have to leave behind a slew of little friends. It's awful.

I hate it. It breaks my heart a little every single time.

I hate it a lot.

But one thing the last days have reminded me of is that my boys are best friends. I am so grateful to see them playing together, being genuine friends to one another.

Of course they sometimes don't agree, sometimes they beat on each other in not nice ways, but overall, they are buds.

I am thankful for family. I'm grateful that we are in it all together. Yes, they'll each make their own little gaggle of friends again, but still, home is where friends will always be found.

I so so so hope their friendships grow as they get older. I want to leave this world knowing my boys will take care of each after I'm gone. That's not asking too much is it?

I think this is my favorite picture of the boys this far. They are so dang cute. They are good buddies to each other too. I am glad I can also be one of their buds because this group is one heck of a cool group. Love yas!
