Manifesto Day Six
I am a teacher. One of my favorite things to do is teach. Did you know every member of my family is a teacher by profession? Every single one. Except me. And yet, it is one of my loves! I adored the prenatal part of being a doula because it was my opportunity to educate. I love directing theater because it's "education in motion."
This past year as we've carefully and slowly embarked on our homeschooling adventure, I have discovered I am a teacher of littles as well. I love it. As we continue to rocket toward kindergarten, I am honing my teaching and loving every minute of it!

Kudos for being a great teacher! I tried and failed at the homeschool thing, but like their school so it's all good. We just do supplementary stuff over the summer to retain and excite. One of our faves is home science experiments. I have loads of respect for homeschooling parents.
Those breadsticks were freakin amazing.. I've been thinking about them all morning.. I'm a dork. mmmm So not good for a diet though, but delicious!
Homeschooling is the hardest teaching of all. Remember all those summers? You are a good teacher (think of the drama camps....Odyssey.... etc.) Your kids will benefit from having you as their teacher/mom.
As for breasticks. Name the restaurant please....

Amber- science is our favorite right now too!
