If you ever wanted to know all the details of his birth and never read it, get it HERE.
And in honor of his birthday, here are Oliver's Isms:
19.1 lbs, 28 inches. He's LONG and LEAN. He's so bony. I blame the lactose intolerance/reflux.
Walks and climbs stairs like he's a pro.
Says the following-
DONE! (When he's done in his high chair or when he's over me diaper-changing)
DOG! (Which he is quite proud to say)
Mama (Of course)
Bahbah (which is code for "binky" "bottle" or "nurse.")
Uh-oh (ADORABLE!)
HI! (doesn't say this often though. )
He's still working on Dada.
We have had the year to end all years. In the beginning, having three kids was difficult, then having a baby that literally screamed and cried nonstop was difficult. Once his reflux issues were discovered, he began to smile and laugh a lot more. We ALL smiled and laughed more. He is ray of sunshine. He is happy, giggly, busy, strong-willed, adorable, brave, a sweet lover, a cuddler (which I hope NEVER stops) a wide-mouth kisser, a mama's boy (My first one!) skinny, food-loving, binky-addict, stinky, sticky little love.
I wouldn't change a thing about him.
For his birthday, we celebrated with my parents, and his cousins. It was less fun than I had hoped but only because he was very very tired. But now, pictures to view just for you:
Oliver was unsure of the birthday singing:
