Notes

- Baby is head down, and ready to go! Homebirth here we come. Prayers answered, no question.

- No more driving an hour each way to the chiro unless baby UNhead-downs.

-Water birth tub is RENTED! Only a few things left on my list to take care of.

-Kite flying was very successful today. It flew and flew. Derek got it up WAY high. The boys loved it. Turns out, the kite wouldn't fly when two days ago because I put it together wrong.

- Absolutely gorgeous day today. Sunshiny and warmish. I am enjoying warm Vegas before it gets to be HOT Vegas.

- Did a round of hair cuts tonight. I HATE hair cut night. Hair everywhere and I ITCH like crazy.

- Going to Laughlin tomorrow. We were going to go to San Diego, but decided to stay closer to home. The hotel has a real, antique-looking running train. The kids will freak.

-Spencer and Henry love Buzz Lightyear.

So glad to hear baby is in "go" position! I'm crossing my fingers for a VERY uneventful home birth for you!

Thanks Megs. Me too. My other two births were completely boring in their non-event-ness. So, we're planning for the same. :)

I'm all for Kelsey playing babysitter. I'll come sit with Maynard and his brothers after he comes!

If these are "notes," shouldn't you have 26 more counts of "NO TALKING," and a bunch more, "get the gum out of your mouth," or "If you touch the curtain again, I WILL recast you," and things of that nature?

Yay! I'm glad to hear that it's working and he's in the position he needs to be in. That's a huge relief. Good luck and I can't wait to hear about it.

(How much is it to rent a birth tub? We started toying with the idea of a homebirth at the end of my pregnancy and our lack of tub was one thing stopping me. Hehe. I really wanted that water! Next time it would be much more likely that we'd do it all at home, since [my] Morgan's birth was so quick and uneventful.)

Chels- I considered it. ;)

Emily- Our rental is $275, but we're lucky. There is a local company that delivers and picks up for free. When having to rent from the company and pay shipping it is twice as much. Lots of people just get kiddie pools and use them. I wanted one with a heater so Derek didn't have to concern himself with keeping the water warm. The idea of having to ACTUALLY boil water at a home birth was just too dumb.
