So we pulled our picnic stuff and headed out to the park.

Ahhh, lunch outside and a playground. Perfection.

The thing is, I had forgotten when you have a toddler, you can not SIT at the park. It's constant chasing, removing rocks from mouth, making sure they don't fall off the playground equipment, etc. It's tiring. Fun. But tiring.
Then: DRAMA
Oliver, my newest potty-learner had to tinkle. OF COURSE HE DID.
No matter, we'll just hop on over to the bathrooms.
WAIT, the doors were locked.
What the what?
So, Henry and Spencer schooled Oliver in whizzing on trees.
O-man was very reluctant at first. But once he removed his shoes, pants and underwear entirely, he found great success.

We then had a talk about when going potty outside is appropriate and when it isn't. I'm absolutely certain he heard none of it and there will be much #1ing on things from here on out.
Happy spring!

Ok, this is so, so funny. You know this. And you know that your 3 will teach mine, right? I think this is an important life skill that all boys need to learn.
So I had to have the outside potty talk with Orion. We live in the country and frankly, I don't care if he goes out side. But when he decides it is okay to drop 'em in front of the church right when everyone is leaving... well... I think we know where this story goes. :P A yes, the life of a mommy of boys. :P
