The Birds, They are Angry

If, one month ago, you had asked me, "Hey Morgs (cuz lots of my friends call me "Morgs") how 'bout them Angry Birds?"

I would have replied, "Angry Birds? I've never played! I think they are trendy and straight up silly."

If you asked me today, "Hey Morgs, how 'bout them Angry Birds?"

I would reply, "Huh? What was that? Sorry, I am trying to beat this level of Angry Birds! Don't bug me!"

Right?

See, as a rule, I don't "play games" on my phone, but when the newest version of Angry Birds suddenly was free for two days on Amazon, what's a girl to do? Especially after she hijacked her husband's phone to play? That girl is to have her husband make it appear magically on HER phone of course!

It's a fantastic waste of time. Dishes? Nah. Laundry? All right but only because it washes itself. Kids? Who again?

See, the birds... they are ANGRY and they are in RIO! Yes, the birds have gone to Brazil. It's ridiculous and way more addicting than things on phones should be.

I'm just sayin'.

I gotta go, I think I finally figured out how to beat level 14!

Bah, I LOVE that game! lol! My mom came out for a week and brought her i Pad, and I think I spent 90% of their trip here playing Angry Birds on that thing. I was pretty good, I must say:) Then she left and I am still having withdrawals... :)

Kara- I've actually seen that before and I LOVE IT! SO freaking hilarious.

Carolyn- Derek has beaten the entire "Rio" version, and nothing new is coming out for it until May. Poor Dear might die.

And if you asked me before reading this post today, I would have said, "Huh? What's that?" and possibly wondered if it was an illusion to an Alfred Hitchcock movie. 'Cause I'm that cool.

Oh man, I LOVE me some angry birds. I've actually had to vow it off in order to continue parenting in a way that doesn't send CPS to our home. :)

I became so addicted to that game over the holidays, as did my hubby, I'm pretty sure we didn't talk to one another except to say, "what level you on now?!?" Thanks for leaving the nice comment on my blog. I've had the chance to look around on your blog today and I really enjoyed myself.

Brian loves that game! If you have a phone that lets you download apps (a smartphone). It is free from the Android market

Hahahahaha. I have no idea what game you are talking about but it sounds AWESOME! Did you get there? Level 14?!

Carolyn- I KNOW! It's ridiculous.

Maren- It's silly so be glad you're unaware.

Natalie- No problem. :)

Hilary- I am trying to ONLY play while I nurse the baby. I HAVE to sit then anyway, right?

BBTS- HAHAH! Nice!

Kelsey- Yes, but the paid for version is like bigger. It has more levels!

KnitterMama- If you have a smart phone, I recommend!

How did I not see this before?

My husband and I are bonafide addicts. Once upon a time, I had beat all the levels, then my phone died a tragic death and then I defeated them all again. I had to, you see.

You should hear Max ask for Angry Birds. Very cute. And the nursing and playing things works, until your four month old starts grabbing the phone. Not cool!

And just for the record, if you want to actually witness your kids grow up instead of just being glued to your screen, do not, I repeat DO NOT, download "Tiny Wings." Stupid game.
