Prepare to be overloaded...

We managed to make it back home today after a VERY long drive. It was nice to have a break at the half-way point. The boys were able to run around Aunt Kelsey's house, and that was a great break from driving.

Halloween, as I mentioned was a fun affair.

Caleb, my 17 year old bro, was the joker, and with my VAST theater make-up experience, I got to "paint" him.

Finished product, my beautiful mom (pictured) stayed up until all hours the night before sewing for my TEENAGED brothers.

Bond, James Bond. I thought Josh looked like a waiter, until he picked up his guns. (That's my 14 year old bro).

I need to pause and say that Henry DID NOT WANT to wear his costume. It took AN HOUR of gentle prodding to finally get him dressed. Look how cute he was though!

Spencer had NO clue what was going on or what all the fuss was about. He kept trying to go IN people's houses.

But he was sure a sweet puppy:

I can not believe I chopped off Derek's head. GRRRRRR! Too cute, every Buzz needs a daddy.

This was one of the most precious moments. My grandparents (so my kids' great grandparents) came to dinner on Sunday night, and Spencer brought Grandma and Grandpa a book to read and made them read it SEVERAL times. It was so sweet.

Monday we visited Derek's grandmother and took her to lunch. We also saw Derek's brother Jason, his wife Alisha and their gorgeous girls, Lilly and Coralie. We played in the leaves in the cold weather and it was general happiness all around.

So there ya go, lots of pictures.

We had so much fun.

And in other news, I would like to register an OFFICIAL complaint to the state of Nevada. My voter registration card, which I properly applied for ON TIME A MONTH AGO, got lost in the mail. Did I get to vote today? No. Was my voice heard? No. Was it my fault? Frig no. I.AM. MAD. POOOOOOO on Nevada. That skinny little postcard must've gotten stuck in the bottom of some mail bin, and it will probably come next week. Did I mention that I was mad? Cuz I am. Derek's card came! He got to let his voice be heard! I feel like a chick in the 1900's. No voice. POOOOOOO.

What great pictures. My vote for the best is either the two puppies or the greats reading to Spencer.

Thanks for coming you guys. And on a weekend when the time changes also. You're in for a rough week!

Love ya
Ma

Kids are cute! I'm hoping that we might swing a trip to Utah sometime next year. I'll have to take it alone with both kids but they're getting older and easier to handle. My best friend is contemplating a trip to Utah, or home to Minnesota. She's a convert so if she went to Utah I'd go with and show her all the sights.
I did get to vote, took the kids and was in and out in 15 minutes...I have to admit that I don't know if my vote made a difference! I'm disappointed in so many of the results for national and local voting. Did you read the thing about Tim Robbins? He wasn't on the rolls to vote and ended up going to the court house and getting a judge to sign a permission form of sorts to allow him to vote. Talk about dedication! Although, I would have just gone home and fussed about it.
