was run errands today. INSANE and poor Henry was begging, BEGGING to "go home and play in the grass." We took a brief break at home for a nap for Spencer, and then we were back at it.
We had a lot to pick up for a craft class I'm teaching next week.
*Snort* Me? Teaching a craft class? That's right. I am. Don't laugh.
Okay, do, it's fine. I don't care.
Anyway, Sunday is Derek's 30th birthday. So, amazingly, Derek and I are going on a date tomorrow night. Wow, right?
Problem is, we're not really sure what to do. We haven't been on a date in a long time. Not since we've moved to Las Vegas.
ummmmm..... what should we do? Dinner and Movie? Dancing? (HAHAH!) The possiblities are endless, but it's overwhelming and we don't know what to do...
Ideas?

Picnic and hike in Red Rock Canyon, depending on weather... Buffet dinner and a free show such as the pirate show at TI... Go to the cheap ticket (one in the mall near TI and Wynn, one by the M&M store in the coke bottle) place and pick up something for a comedy show (Second City is fun and usually $20 or less) or some other cheap show...
I think any time that you can walk hand in hand without a child pushing you guys away is romantic. I love dates where we can talk to each other and get back to relating on a more personal level and not just what the kids did or did not do that day.
Since I missed the 'date' I hope it was fun.You can always just drive around for a while and buy cheap treats: slurpees, baby ice cream cones at Mickey D's, 1 slice of Pizza at Sam's club.
