Oh the heartbreak. It has been raining for two days. Henry does not do well when it rains. If I was a better mom, I'd take him outside to play in the rain, but I'm not, so I don't. Yesterday, he asked me if it was done raining and FINALLY this evening, by bedtime, the rain had stopped. He realized it had stopped, and then he realized that it was bedtime. TRAGEDY!
We are going to the zoo tomorrow. I'm very excited.
Spencer has four teeth. He is BITING! If anyone has any suggestions to keep a baby from biting whilst nursing, let's hear it. I've tried all I know... it's not helping. I yelp, he looks up at me as if to say, "Geez lady, what is your problem?? I'm trying to EAT here. Keep it down!" Sigh.

I know how the rain treats toddlers. Preston has been FREAKING out because he can't go outside. He also refuses to believe that it's raining unless you let him go out and stand on the porch. He gets rained upon and then looks at me with wide eyes and declares, "Oh! It's rainin!" MY goodness.
Fortunately there's an indoor/outdoor cat here that kept him occupied yesterday when it decided to be a God-send and come in out of the rain. He loves that tailless, one-eared thing.
Um, ouch! I think I would start a bottle. :)
