Here I sit....

at 7:30 in the morning, thanking the Universe for Day Light Savings time, BOTH of my children are still sleeping.

However, this evening, I'm not sure what I'll do. Their little bodies will be an hour off, but I do NOT want them both up until 9!!!! What do I do???

We went to Salina this past weekend (Saturday to be exact) for Derek's Stake Leadership training (that's church talk for those that wonder...). Turns out he didn't need to be there (they cancelled his meeting) so we went to the mall and to Fazolis.

We do not have a Fazoli's in Manhattan. And I ADORE their never-ending breadstick philosophy....

I accidently left my wallet at the mall, so we pulled into the parking lot at the Fazoli's only to realize I was wallet-less and so we zoomed back to the mall, Henry crying all the time that he wanted "piiipaaaa!" (pizza.)

LUCKILY (blessed-ly) my wallet was right where I left it and entirely intact. So back to Fazoli's we go.

And we start to eat... and we wait... and we wait... and no little breastick person ever comes... and we wait... and we're DONE with our meals and are hurting for breadsticks.... and we wait... and we refill our diet cokes...and we wait.... and finally, I ask.

THEY DON'T DO UNLIMITED BREADSTICKS ANYMORE!

Why would I eat there then? If I wanted mediocre, quick Italian WITHOUT unlimited breadsticks, I'd stay home and boil some noodles.

What a let-down. And I most certainly wasn't going to pay $2.39 for a dozen breadsticks, no-sir-ee, not after eating probably ten times that in my life FOR FREE.

Nuts to you, Fazoli's. We are no longer friends.

This is the saddest thing I have heard in a long time. I would say more, but i have to go enforce the 'no touching' rule for my debaters. Sigh.

Evidently there is no reason to eat at Fazoli's anymore. I shall now regard it as obsolete. I miss you and yours. Can't wait 'til you're back.

Is this an all fazolis thing, or just yours? I hope its not out here, but I haven't eaten there in a long time. That is sad.

Yeah, I totally hear you. Without unlimited breadsticks, Fazoli's is Ragu that they heat up for you! :)
