Well, that was quite the birth. It was VERY different than my others. She did go into labor on her own, but it still ended up being QUITE interventive. Phew. I am TIRED. It's very disconcerting getting a call at 2:30 in the morning on a day when you're expecting an induction. I thought it was my alarm! HAHAHA!
On another doula-related note, my doula friend and I are working on bringing The Business of Being Born here to town for a screening. We're hoping to do it through K-State would give it SO MUCH more crediblity. I'm hopeful. I've got an email in to the proper "authorities" and we're just waiting on the approval from K-state. VERY exciting.
Doula-ing is a wonderful job, I absolutley love it, but losing sleep at night and then going full-tilt all day is tough! I have to force myself to be patient with my kids. They do not care if I'm tired. Luckily, they're both being WONDERFUL today, so that is a definite bonus.
Henry is watching Clifford. Man, what a good mom I am. I have a big sling order and laundry as tall as I am, but am I doing it? NOPE! I'm vegging. Tomorrow, I'll be myself again. Today, I'm totally phoning it in.
I tried to plan ahead, I even cooked dinner YESTERDAY for today, but since my friend and I cook on opposite nights for both families, I messed up and gave her too much and only saved enough for Derek and Henry but not me. I guess I thought I'd still be doula-ing. It's okay, I actually LIKE cereal for dinner.
Okay, now Spencer is ALSO watching Clifford. I'm still an AWESOME mom. Sigh.

Yippee for doula babies! Too bad you have to be so tired to do your job. I complain about my job making me tired, but at least it doesn't involve phone calls at 2 in the morning.
Yea for Clifford! Isaac loves that show. Don't tell him I told you.

HAHAHAH! It teaches valuable life lessons like not stealing, so I am not surprised.
Morgan....I miss you. Move to Utah so when I have my babies you can be my doula. I promise not to go into labor at 2am! Maybe 3 but not 2! You are awesome and sometimes it is good for kids to watch videos to keep momma sane!
