I would like to register an official complaint against 1:00 church. It is NOT my cup of tea. Henry didn't get to nap and by 1:00 I felt like we should be DONE not just going. And when we finally got done, it was almost dark!
I honestly felt really badly handing Henry off to his nursery leaders. But apparenlty he was quite happy, so I'm glad for that.
I want to move just for the year so I can go back to 9:00 church. I hope it gets better because today was BAD!

Tell me about it. I hate 1:00 church. I am looking forward to going to a family ward solely because I will not have 1:00 church. Everything else about it I dread; like being single with a whole lot of married people. But the non-1:00 might just make it worth it.
Here, here!!! I hate it too, our last ward was 1 and so when we moved I was so excited, just to find out that starting...today church would be at 1. Ask me if we made it? Nope!!! What is the point in going when you don't even get to sit in class to hear anything anyway. By the time we were ready to go, children were screaming, I was screaming :) so we decided to read the ensign and put the kids down for a nap, they slept until 4...I'm not sure I can handle another year of church at 1:00!!!
I'm right there with you, sister! 1:00 is THE WORST with kids! Hang in there--it got better for us by the end of the year.
I did the HAPPY dance this week. That's right. We have switched back to 9am. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA> I thought that certain family members might kill me because I was so excited. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We don't even have kids and hate 1:00 church! The hatred will only increase when we have kids I am sure.
