I am avoiding changing Oliver's diaper right this minute. I can't leave it for toooo long because um it's gross, but still. He is STINKY!
When we went grocery shopping the other day (remember, it is an EPIC FAMILY OUTING), the boys decided they missed having cereal for breakfast. Whatever, fine by me. So both Henry and Spencer voted for Strawberry Shredded Wheat.
GREAT! No problem! Healthier than many other options! BEAUTIFUL.
Have you ever given that high a dosage of fiber to children who have ZERO issues with constipation?
I don't recommend it.
Between the three of them, they have trotted off to the pot/dirtied diapers more than I care to admit.
It's gross.
I have to go change Oliver.
JUST SAY NO to SHREDDED WHEAT!

My favorite thing about reading this post is that when I read it in Google Reader, a ad for Kellog's Fiber Plus Cereal was on the bottom of your post. Priceless. I pledge to never feed my kids high fiber cereal, unless of course they need it! Too Funny!
Hahahahahaha!
Ew.
As a side note, do you feel ilke you spend a great portion of your day changing diapers? Because I do.
Still sad I didn't get to come play today. Probably better because both boys coughs still resemble the death rattle, but still. Soon.
Stacy- We didn't even go to the museum. The poor kids were like, "Aren't we going to the museum?" And I just feigned complete confusion, "Huh? What? No, not today! Someday, but not today!" Poor things. :) SOOOOONNN!!
Haha...I cringe whenever Grant asks for oatmeal for breakfast...
Yuck! I hate diapers after my toddler has had strawberries, he's pretty used to the high fiber diet, so I don't really think about that much. But almost every time he has strawberries (which are hard to moderate when he opens the container as you are paying for them and begins to chow down) I can count on lots of poop and a nice diaper rash if I don't change it immediately.
I just love reading your posts! You have a charmingly humorous way to put a lot of things.
Haha, this made me laugh - been there too many times. Our kids favourite gross out food - beets. They eat them greedily in anticipation of the beet-pee and even more beloved beet-poo. ever scrubbed beet-poo out of a cloth diaper? Not fun or pleasant...kinda pretty, I guess. ;)
I guess this is one reason to actually be glad that my kids are somewhat (though not too much) towards the constipated end of the spectrum. They are big big fans of both shredded wheat (just discovered the strawberry kind -- they love it) and oatmeal. There is some price to be paid for this love in the diaper/bathroom department, but it isn't too bad. Usually. Except sometimes for Asher.
Haha, my youngest had a stomach bug and didn't poop for like 3 days.
But the following week, my husband was gone almost 24/7 and I changed like 12 diapers a day, I thought I was going to die. :)
