The -Ing Family

So, I am not usually one to give up the chance to subject you to the inner-workings of my mind, but tonight, I simply can not say it better than this article. I'm not joking. You MUST go read it.

Here's why:
I am LDS and dang proud of it. But like anything that anyone is proud of, there are always people who don't care for it the same way you do. Often times the LDS church gets a bad rap about this that or the other thing. I don't get all uppity about it. People choose to believe whatever they want.

But one thing that I despise being misunderstood about my religion is it's stance on WOMEN. Let me be clear: The LDS church honors and reveres women. In fact, if I had to pick which one the "church" as a whole likes better, I'd say women.

And this article makes me all happy and wish that they still treated Midwifery as a calling. Cuz I'd be seriously begging for that job. Seriously.
